About the format: Panasonic MII was a professional analog component-video format introduced in the 1980s as a competitor to Betacam SP and was used by television stations and professional video facilities. MII is sometimes informally referred to as M2. Working MII playback equipment has become increasingly difficult to locate, but Reel Transfers maintains equipment for transferring these tapes to modern digital files.
Tape condition: Some MII tapes may require tape preparation/baking prior to transfer. If additional treatment is necessary, we will contact you before proceeding. A $25 tape-baking charge may apply.
